Description: Iconic tree that begins shedding and displaying white bark in the crown and trunk with age. Deciduous species that produces large leaves that resemble maple leaves. Tolerant of wet conditions and riparian areas. Produces round seedballs. Fall color is yellow. These trees were grown from seed by PWC. Seeds were gathered from the large American Sycamore located at Reiff Park, Harleysville.
