Don’t let a few snowflakes prevent you from getting out and enjoying some activity throughout the Perkiomen Watershed! When the days grow short and the temperatures drop, we have a whole new set of adventures to help you beat that cabin fever! Join us for one of our 5K trail races through Perkasie or try your hand (or feet!) at snowshoeing on Spring Mountain!

A great chance to get in one more race before Ole’ Man Winter really gets us in his grip! The Freeze-Up 5k features a nice, flat run on paved trails in and around Perkasie and along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek. The Freeze-Up is open to runners and walkers of all ages, and those 21 & up enjoy a free craft beer after the race!

Gear up for the 2026 Beast of the East Snowshoe 5K, where Spring Mountain turns into a snowy wonderland of questionable life choices. This is the biggest snowshoe 5K in the entire country, so you’ll be tromping along with everyone from elite athletes to folks who just found out snowshoes have a front and a back.
