Support the Conservancy!
Connecting the pieces …
and creating a healthier watershed… together!
Dear Friend of the Perkiomen,
A healthy watershed is just like a puzzle. Each piece has a purpose, but it's really the connections between those pieces that reveal the bigger picture.
At the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, we see those connections every day. From restoring natural habitats and improving water quality to inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards, our work brings people, projects, and resources together to create a healthier, more resilient watershed.
And none of these connections would be possible without you!
Because of your support and participation, 2026 has been a year of meaningful progress across the entire 362 square miles of the watershed.
Connecting People to Purpose: More than 2,050 volunteers joined our annual Perkiomen Stream Cleanup, working across 182 sites to remove litter and debris from our waterways.
Connecting Habitats to Healthy Waterways: Through native plantings and ecological restoration, we're rebuilding natural landscapes that improve water quality, support wildlife, and strengthen our watershed's resilience.
Connecting Students to Science: Our Floating Classroom continues to bring environmental science to life, giving students hands-on opportunities to explore the connections between water, wildlife, and the world around them.
Connecting Communities to the Creek: With the completion of the Marlborough Access Area, we've expanded opportunities for residents and visitors to safely experience and appreciate the Perkiomen Creek Water Trail.
And these are just a few of this year’s accomplishments, and of each represents an important piece of our mission. But the true impact comes from how they work together.
A student who discovers the importance of clean water today may become tomorrow's conservation volunteer. A newly planted tree helps protect the same stream where families paddle and explore. A community that understands its watershed becomes a community invested in protecting it.
That's the power of connecting the pieces.
As we look toward 2027, there's still much to accomplish. More streams to restore. More habitats to protect. More students to inspire. And more opportunities to connect communities with the natural resources that sustain them.
Whether you've supported the Conservancy for years or are considering your first contribution, your generosity is an important part of this work. Every gift strengthens the connections that make lasting conservation possible.
Make a year-end gift to help us keep connecting the pieces and protecting the Perkiomen... together?
With gratitude,
