Learn about PlantPods, a new and fun way to boost the water quality in local waterways! During this training session, participants will learn how to construct PlantPods, discuss their benefits, and will launch a PlantPod system into the pond at Briarwyck Park. Participants will also remove and analyze a previously installed PlantPod system that has been in the pond for several months prior to the training session.

Join the Conservancy for a moth survey! Meet us in the greenhouse to learn more about local moth species with our guide, Michael Pirrello!
Help set up moth survey equipment and check out all of the species we find.
Please wear clothes and shoes that you can walk on uneven terrain in. Make sure to bring a headlamp or flashlight along with you as well.

Join the Conservancy and Evansburg Vineyards to learn about butterfly food! Butterflies do not only need native plants for food as adults, but also as caterpillars! This workshop will cover how participants can create butterfly gardens on their properties that support butterflies throughout their entire lifecycle, from egg to adulthood. Participants will leave the workshop with handouts and information to help them plan and create their own butterfly gardens and will receive a free packet of native plant seeds. Each participant also receives a glass of wine with the purchase of a ticket.

Please park in the gravel lot behind the white barn with the red roof. We will be working in the smaller greenhouse closer to the road.
Transplanting work day activities will include transplanting native plugs into 4 inch containers. All necessary tools will be provided. No experience needed!
