Summer Camps
@ The POD at Green Lane Park
Train like a ninja. Paddle like a pro.
Paddling Ninjas is a high-energy summer camp that teaches kids how to canoe, kayak, and paddleboard through skill-building, teamwork, and a whole lot of on-the-water games. Campers sharpen their paddling skills at the Conservancy’s Floating Classroom located at the Walt Road Day Use Area on Days 1–2, then they explore new water at Deep Creek Lake (still Green Lane Park but at the Main Office near Snyder Road) on Day 3, and finish with an epic, day-long adventure paddling the Perkiomen Creek from Schwenksville to Welakamike Park in Collegeville on Day 4.
Balance, strokes, river smarts, and plenty of paddle games come together in a program that builds confidence, competence, and serious waterway swagger. No black belt required.

Floating Classroom Week 2026
July 27th - 30th
Fishing Camp is all about lines in the water, fish on the hook, and figuring out what actually works.
Whether you’re brand new to fishing or already think you know where the big ones hide, this camp cranks up your skills… FAST. Campers learn about local fish, how they move, what they eat, and where they hang out. Then we put that knowledge to the test using a wide variety of tackle to see who can outsmart the fish.
This isn’t stand-on-the-shore-and-wait fishing. We’ll explore the reservoir by kayak and aboard our state-of-the-art pontoon boat, chasing the best fishing spots, running friendly challenges, and seeing who can land the biggest and most impressive catches. Along the way, expert anglers join us to share tips, tricks, and best practices for catching and releasing fish like a pro.
More casts. More fish. More competition. More fun.
If you love fishing, this camp is your happy place.
