During the survey, we will stroll around the butterfly gardens and conservation projects located at the site while observing and recording any fluttering friends we might find! Paddle Board Yoga @ Deep Creek
Take your yoga practice to the next level—on the water! Paddle Board Yoga adds a fun new challenge to familiar poses while you enjoy the beauty of Deep Creek Lake. No paddle boarding experience necessary—just come ready to stretch, balance, and have some fun!

Fall Native Plant Sale!
Fall in love with native plants during the Fall Native Plant Sale!!! This is your chance to grab some locally grown native plant species that support pollinators, create wildlife habitat, and beautify your outdoor spaces! Dozens of species of native grasses and herbaceous perennials will be available. A small selection of Conservancy grown trees will also be available.

The Online Silent Auction opens on the Conservancy’s website today!! The Silent Auction is one of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy’s major fundraisers of the year. Proceeds support our environmental education classes, streambank restorations, stream clean-ups, outdoor recreation events, and more!

Don't blink! Join us for a sneak peek into the wonderful world of the elusive spring ephemeral. These natives don't hang around for long... so you gotta' catch 'em while they're hot! We'll take a stroll around Fulshaw Craeg and dive into their wooded world. Don't miss it!
Night Hike & Moth Survey
Join the Conservancy for an evening of adventure at Dragonfly Farm at Reiff Park! Attendees will participate in a guided night hike around Reiff Park while using LED blacklights to spot insects inhabiting the park in their natural habitat! Please bring a headlamp or flashlight! After our stroll, participants will get to enjoy two mothing stations equipped with special mothing lights and sheets. Bring your headlamp, camera, and sense of adventure!
Paddle Board Yoga @ Deep Creek

European Water Chestnut Removal Workday
Best Address: 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969. Please park here in the lot off of Meeting House Rd. The pond where we will be working is down the hill on Meeting House Rd, behind Bryce's detailing.
Volunteers will be helping to hand-pull an invasive aquatic plant from a privately owned pond. Wading into the pond or kayaking / canoeing is necessary in order to access the plants. Some waders and boats will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own boat or waders if they have them! Please make sure to wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and wet. Bring plenty of water and a lunch with you.

Native Plant & Herb Gardening for Butterflies Workshop
Participants will learn about a variety of native plant and herb species that specifically support local butterflies! Learn about which native plant and herb species you can plant together in your garden to support butterflies in all of their life stages! Participants will sow two different types of seeds, dill seeds and golden Alexander seeds, in two inch containers to grow for their gardens.

Pop-up Native Plant Sale!!! This is your chance to grab some locally grown native plant species that support pollinators, create wildlife habitat, and beautify your outdoor spaces! Botany by Boat
Love Plants? Love Kayaking? This program smashes them together for an unforgettable field experience. Join us for this one-of-a-kind program led by Naturalist Kathy Salisbury on Green Lane Reservoir. This is your chance to get out on the water AND totally geek out on PA Natives!
NO kayaking experience necessary. Cost includes kayak rental (with paddle and pfd - of course). Note: You must use our kayaks due to the vessel quarantine restrictions on the reservoir.

The Bats in your Backyard
Have you ever wondered about bats? Ever looked skyward just after sunset and seen their tiny leathery wings flapping in the twilight and wanted to know more? Join us for an evening of wonder as we learn about these incredible creatures of the night!
Our educator Jeff will help you separate fact from fiction, dispelling some of the many myths that persist about these misunderstood animals. You’ll learn what bats live in PA, some of the threats they face, and why they are so important to our ecosystems.
And thanks to Pennsylvania Bat Conservation & Rehabilitation, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the release of real live bats, back into their natural habitat!

Lower Providence Township Rain Barrel Workshop
Build Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to build and install a rain barrel at home! Each participant will leave with a fully assembled rain barrel, ready to install and start using right away.
Rain barrels collect rainwater from your downspout for reuse around your home, perfect for watering plants, cleaning yard equipment, or other outdoor needs. This simple, sustainable solution helps reduce household water use while also decreasing stormwater runoff.
All materials and tools will be provided, including a 55-gallon hard plastic drum. Staff will guide you step by step through the building and installation process, making this workshop beginner-friendly.

Red Hill Borough Stormwater Workshop
Join the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy at Red Hill Borough Hall to learn about all things stormwater! This interactive workshop will explore the problems associated with stormwater runoff and practical ways you can reduce runoff at home.
Topics will include adding native plants to your yard, using environmentally friendly lawn and garden maintenance practices, installing a rain barrel, and other simple strategies that help protect local waterways.
Participants will leave with practical ideas and resources they can use to reduce stormwater runoff and make their backyard more environmentally friendly.
