Two-person Team Race -OR- Solo Challenge

Location: Start at The Conservancy
Check-in opens:  7:30 am

Member Only Early Bird Registration: January 8 - 20
Early Bird Registration: January 21 - February 3
Regular Registration: February 4 - April 19


*The Lenape Challenge will be held rain or shine. However, if weather conditions (e.g. high creek levels) make it unsafe to hold the race on the 27th, the race will be held on May 4th. Please make sure you are available for both dates.


Participants will start at the Conservancy's Brownstone Barn and enjoy a mighty dash through the fields, woods and trails of Schwenksville to Spring Mountain.  After scrambling up the steep side of the hill, you'll run through a wooded mountain top path studded with diabase boulders.  And with what's left in your legs you'll tackle the descent back down to the canoes. 

Next you are off to paddle hard for 2+ miles on the Perkiomen to the finish!

  • Canoe (teams) or kayak (solo), paddle and life vest provided

  • Lenape tech t-shirt

  • Post race nosh

  • Prizes awarded for Grand Champion plus top three finishers in each category.

Early bird: $75 nonmembers/$60 members

Regular: $80 nonmembers/$65 members

Solo Challenge:

Early bird: $85 nonmember/$75 member

Regular: $90 nonmember/$80 member
