or you can visit us at the Conservancy.  Choose from over 25 Animal Adventure Hour Programs! 


Water, Water Everywhere Try-It
(Completes Try-It)

Get wet and have fun as you learn about water and discover what lives in the Perkiomen Creek. 
Complete requirements for Try-It in 1.5 hours at PWC (available April - October). 
Post-Trip pamphlets included for each scout.

Learn about local wildlife with this fun, hands on program.  
Complete requirments for this badge in 1.5 hours at the Conservancy, or at your troop meeting.

Sea Turtles - An Uncertain Future

Heidi Rader, Conservancy Educator, Education and Outreach Coordinator for Drexel University's Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program, BiokoIsland, Equatorial Guinea, West Africa, shares her journey to thisremote island to collect data on the physical characteristics, nesting habits, behavior, diet, and threats to the survival of these gentle animals.

Heidi presents rarely seen, still images of wildlife onthe island, including video clips of interactions with the turtles, and threats to their survival.  Learn more about endangered species, marine life, and our global connections.  Here's your opportunity to meet with, and pose questions to, someone who is conducting meaningful research right now!

A Super Sensory Night Hike!

This time of day holds some unique surprises for us!   Use all your senses to move through the night with a Conservancy Hike Guide.  Beginning at twilight, we will explore the world of nocturnal animals and find out what adaptations we have that make hiking at night such a wondrous adventure!
