"Insects, A Hummin' and a Buzzin' "
Caterpillars, butterflies, honeybees, fireflies... all take center stage in a unique musical outdoor performance! Some insects have emerged from a chilly winter “sleep”. Other insects have hatched from eggs and are busy creating homes and raising young. Join us and find out what your favorite insects are up to this spring!
"Earth Day Special"
It’s a large planet with lots of wonderful plants and animals all over it! Every living thing needs clean water, fresh air, food, and shelter to survive. How can young learners help take care of such a large place? Join us as we examine the role of two very important tools, “knowledge” and “caring”.
We’ve designed engaging activities and created an action component to help your students make a difference! This unique and empowering hour-long program features a very special craft at the end!
"Feathered Friends"
Special adaptations help them float, fly, catch their prey and raise their young. Together we will learn about a variety of species, some found even in our backyards! A wonderful introduction to this very visible animal group!
"Animals of the Night"
Nocturnal animals live all around us. Specially adapted to wander and hunt during the night, we often do not see them. Local animals such as the skunk, bat, and fox find themselves busiest at night. A wonderful introduction to this oft invisible animal group!
