This training session will focus on key topics such as selecting the right planting site, choosing appropriate tree species and stock, preparing the site, using proper planting techniques, effective mulching, and future tree care tasks like pruning, staking, and utilizing tree guards or fencing. Participants will also participate in a tree planting during the workshop so make sure to wear sturdy footwear and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Attendees will leave with a native sapling to plant on their property.
