The Conservancy is very pleased to welcome
Emma Melvin as our new Conservation Coordinator!
| |
Emma comes to us from the Lake Champlain Sea Grant program in Vermont where she worked with towns and community groups on water quality issues and helping local leaders and the building community better understand the connections between land uses and water quality. Emma also has experience in water quality monitoring and has worked as a hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey in New Jersey and as a member of the New Jersey Watershed Ambassador's program as an AmeriCorp member.
Emma will be very busy this spring with her first annual Stream Clean-Up and getting other restoration and conservation projects underway as spring arrives. Please feel free to contact Emma and welcome her aboard. If you are a regular Conservancy volunteer or partner, please let her know how you have been involved in the past so she can start getting to know you all better.
