"Outdoor Photography... The Next Step!

April 6, 2013
9:30 am

Location:  Meet at the Conservancy's Brownstone Barn

Fee*:  $20 Members/ $25 Non-Members

*Pre-registration with payment required.

Presenter:  Kevin Loughlin, Wildlife Photographer and owner of Wildside Tours, Inc. Participants who attended last year's digital basics photography class repeatedly requested that we again include a program with Kevin Loughlin during our 2013 season.  We heard you!  Kevin has agreed to take us to the next level this April!  Close-up (macro) photography, shutter-speeds, apertures, exposure compensation and composition will all be included in a brief presentation.  Then, we will head outside to put theory to practical use in the fields, forests, and streams adjacent to the Conservancy.  Bring your camera, a fully charged battery (and a spare just in case), an empty memory card or two, your camera's instruction book, a tripod if you have one, and be ready for some fun and informative photographic opportunities!

Kevin Loughlin has been photographing the world around him for more than 30 years.  He has traveled extensively throughout the contintal USA, backpacking through many of the national parks and wilderness areas.  He has also led bird watching tours to Belize, Guatemala, Panama, and Costa Rica since 1993.  Kevin has been published in Audubon Magazine and WildBird Magazine.  For more information about Kevin's tours, visitwww.wildsidetoursinc.com.  Kevin's new book, The Basics of Digital Nature Photography, will be availabe for purchase.
