Guided walks, workshops, and presentations which explore our connections to the natural world.

PWC offers many quality programs for adults.  You are invited to don your hiking shoes for one of our outstanding Wildflower and Nature Walks around the area or join us inside for one of our special seasonal programs.

Nature Photograpy Workshop!

Presenter: Kevin Loughlin, Professional Photographer, Instructor and international Tour Leader, Owner of Wildside Tours

Got a new camera and don't know where to begin?  Maybe you've had a camera for a while now and aren't happy with the results.  This class, for beginners to advanced photographers alike, will answer many of your questions through presentation, discussion, and an in-the-field experience!

Birds and their Habitats in the Perkiomen Valley!

Presenter: Marcia Clouser, Ursinus College Lecturer and Birding Enthusiast

The Perkiomen Creek Watershed is abundant in bird life due to  its rich diversity of habitats. Join Marcia Clouser as she focuses on birds in their habitats along the creek, from Green Lane to Spring Mountain to Mill Grove. Build your knowledge and hone your identification skills with us!

Full Moon Night Hike!

This time of day holds some unique surprises for us! Use all your senses to move through the night with a Conservancy Hike Guide. As twilight settles in, we investigate the world of nocturnal animals to learn about their special adaptations. Hiking beneath the moon is such a wonderous adventure! We hope you can join us!

The Ferns of Fulshaw-Craeg

Saturday, March 31

Presenter: Dr. Susan Munch, Botany Professor

Walk the trails of the Fulshaw-Craeg Preserve with Susan Munch Ph.D. to learn about the ferns and mosses indigenous to this spectacular diabase area. Dr. Munch has led nature walks and workshops throughout Pennsylvania and the northeastern region of the United States. She is the author of Outstanding Mosses and Liverworts of Pennsylvania and Nearby States. Past participants of Dr. Munch's walks have reported receiving a wealth of information.

Time: 9:30am
