Heidi, Expedition Research Assistant for the Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program, shares her journey to a remote island off the coast of West Africa, where she collects data on the physical characteristics, nesting habits, behavior, diet, and threats to the survival of these gentle animals.  Rarely seen images of wildlife, including video clips of interactions with the turtles, and threats to their survival.  Hers is a message of conservation and hope!
