Jennifer Brooks is the
Conservancy's Assistant Director for Environmental Education. Jennifer joined the Conservancy staff in September 08' and has been too busy to look back!
Jennifer has many years of experience in environmental education. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Resource Management with a specialization in Environmental Education from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Prior to her graduation, Jennifer worked at Blue Marsh Lake in Leesport, PA as a Park Ranger performing a variety of duties which included assisting with wildlife management techniques, and working on trail maintenance. Since then, Jennifer has worked as an Interpretive Park Ranger in the Allegheny National Forest; a Interpretive Park Ranger for the Blue Ridge Parkway; and most recently as the Head Park Ranger for the City of Portland, Maine. Environmental Education has been a cornerstone for her in each location.
In her spare time she loves to hike, travel, ride horses, and spend time with her many animals at home!
