Kathy holds both a bachelors and a master’s degree in education and has a tried and true 9 years of teaching experience under her belt. She has honed her skills in Mountain Home, Idaho; Las Vegas, Nevada; the Souderton Charter School Collaborative of Souderton; and the Chesterbrook Academy in Phoenixville. Kathy’s passion for the environment and involvement with music won us over! A local resident of Schwenksville, Kathy and her husband, Corbin, spend much of their free time hiking, biking, and kayaking.
Kathy’s core responsibilities at the Conservancy include the coordination of Volunteers; the Halloween Night Hike; Summer Science Academy; and teaching classes both at the Conservancy and in school classrooms throughout the Perkiomen Creek Watershed. Kathy has also been seen editing the Conservancy’s website; organizing teaching materials; photographing events, and hefting chairs, tables and brooms to keep us looking sharp!
