Heidi Rader, Conservancy Educator, and Expedition Research Assistant for the Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program, Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea, West Africa, shares her journey to this remote island to collect data on the physical characteristics, nesting habits, behavior, diet, and threats to the survival of these gentle animals.
Heidi presents rarely seen, still images of wildlife on the island, including video clips of interactions with the turtles, and threats to their survival. Learn more about endangered species, marine life, and our global connections. Here's your opportunity to meet with, and pose questions to, someone who is conducting meaningful research right now!
