Mother Nature is challenging us again this weekend. She has chosen to send us even more precipatation to recharge our groundwater and fill our lakes, streams, and rivers. We are grateful for the plentiful water which eludes so many on our planet; however, we look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday evening.
To ensure a magical Halloween Night Hike adventure for you and your family, all hikes will be held on Sunday, October 25th.
* All Friday, October 23rd hikers should come Sunday, October 25th at their reserved times.
* All Saturday, October 24th hikers should come Sunday, October 25th at their reserved times.
On Sunday, October 25th we will once again walk the pumpkin-lit path that leads us to meet those mysterious animals of the night. Designed to delight and inform, this special night hike offers children ages 3-9 a chance to meet and talk with several nocturnal creatures. Our friendly, guided hikes end at our Discovery Room where refreshments and seasonal stories will top off the evening. The entire experience takes approximately 90 minutes.
Hikes begin at 6:15 pm at the Brownstone Barn Headquarters located at Skippack Pike (Route 73) and Haldeman Road, just east of Schwenksville. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and pre-registration is required. Contact the Conservancy for registration information at 610.287.9383. This is a very popular event and hikes fill up quickly. Wear Your Costume!
