Just can’t get enough of the creek? Spend a full day with us as we investigate the East Branch Creek up close and personal.

 |
Through active explorations, games, songs, books and crafts, we will take the day to examine this most incredible ecosystem. Your mission: conduct a macroinvertebrate survey to find out who lives in the creek; investigate the role that physical and chemical factors play in determining its health; trace the flow of energy as it moves through an aquatic food chain; with the assistance of our TeachCam and microscope, identify critical adaptations which help these organisms survive. Bring your brown bag lunch and a drink, your extra dry clothes and a towel. Rest well the night before because you will be active from the moment you arrive!
