Strategic Initative II - Provide Tools for Action, directs the Conservancy to "Develop a watershed-wide action campaign to help residents and businesses take meaningful actions to protect and enhance the Perkiomen Creek Watershed's many natural resources, especially water resources.

Goals

· Create opportunities for residents to undertake local conservation and stewardship actions in support of water resource protection.

Objectives
1. Increase public understanding of stormwater as a valuable resource that requires careful management.

2. Provide opportunities for community groups throughout the watershed to participate in monitoring, clean-up, and restoration projects in their respective areas.

3. Use PWC sponsored conservation projects as demonstrations of appropriate stormwater Best Management Practices and riparian conservation and stewardship.
