CONSERVATION PROGRAMS

Conservancy programs mobilize individuals and organizations into a strong alliance to preserve the Perkiomen Creek Watershed. The Conservancy coordinates restoration, conservation and demonstration projects and works with schools, scouts, service groups, government agencies, conservation organizations and local businesses and citizens to address our watershed needs and issues.

Conservation Mission Statement:
Develop and maintain an environmental ethic in citizens focused on preserving and protecting the streams, aquifers, wetlands and other natural resources of the Perkiomen Watershed.

Objectives:
Educate citizens and municipal officials of the watershed to develop an environmental ethic and a proactive approach to environmental issues.
